Description
This is the main building of the Cayce Historical Museum complex. It is a replica of a trading post, which was built in the Cayce (old Granby) area in 1760-1765. That trading post was seized by the British during the American Revolution and used as a fort. They have a very extensive collection of Native American artifacts upstairs. The old Buff Family kitchen is seen to the right. Mid-morning light.
