A lonely pine on the edge. Midday in Virginia along the Shenandoah Valley. The weather conditions varied this day from dense fog earlier to partly sunny. I really liked it when the clouds would partially open up and hit the valley and mountains with splotches of light. “The Blue Ridge Parkway is a ribbon of road that weaves through the region’s vibrant living traditions.
