Description
This brick is in the wall at the right rear corner of the SC State Hospital, on Bull St., Columbia,SC. Through the years this facility has been a "lunatic asylum", a Civil War prison camp and a resting place for countless homeless people. I wonder who carved this brick...what it says...and why someone felt the need to to deface it. If only this brick could talk. Please find the description of the facility in this Gallery's info panel
