Unique Indeed Charles (L/F) ~ Hello from Michigan.

Artist's Description

This old cabin is located on the grounds of the City of Cayce Complex, near the Cayce Historical Museum. This is the oldest structure in Lexington County, SC. It was completed in 1740 as the Buff family's home. When they built the "big house", this became the detached kitchen. This is not a replica, it is the original building. It was donated to the museum around 2002. Each board was numbered, the building disassembled and reassembled at the museum. It's open every December for "period" lantern tours and Civil War reenactments. Call the museum at 803-796-5385 for more info and their hours.
