This Blue Ridge Parkway Overlook is in NC near Maggie Valley at mile post 454.4 at elevation 4,780'. It was a beautiful evening as the light changed minute by minute. “The Blue Ridge Parkway is a ribbon of road that weaves through the region’s vibrant living traditions. From Cherokee life and agricultural history to Southern Appalachian crafts and music, the Parkway’s 469 miles through Virginia and North Carolina offer many ways to explore rich traditions.” (credit to blueridgeparkway.org)

Charles Hite

Charles Hite is a life-long resident of Lexington County, in South Carolina. His professions have included, the U.S. Army (serving in Germany), licensed professional land surveyor, sales/customer service rep, and right-of-way agent with the SCDOT. In addition to photography, his hobbies include astronomy and landscape gardening. His venture into serious photography began in 2009 at age 60.
